UAE Unveils December 2024 Fuel Prices

The Fuel Price Committee has announced lowered gasoline prices for December 2024, with reductions between 12 and 13 fils per liter. Meanwhile, diesel prices have seen a slight increase of 1 fil per liter compared to November 2024 rates. This marks the sixth time this year that fuel prices have been reduced, following cuts in January, June, July, September, and October 2024.

The updated prices, which include a 5% value-added tax (VAT), will take effect starting Sunday, December 1, 2024, as revealed by fuel distribution companies.

For December, Super 98 gasoline sees a decrease of 13 fils, reducing the price from AED 2.74 in November to AED 2.61, a 4.7% drop. Special 95 gasoline also drops by 13 fils, falling from AED 2.63 in November to AED 2.50 in December, marking a 5% reduction. E-Plus 91 gasoline decreases by 12 fils, lowering the price from AED 2.55 in November to AED 2.43 in December, reflecting a 4.7% decline. In contrast, diesel prices have gone up by 1 fil per liter, from AED 2.67 in November to AED 2.68 in December.
