UAE announces August 2025 fuel prices: slight cuts for petrol, diesel rises
The UAE has set fuel prices for August 2025, making small reductions across petrol grades while lifting the diesel rate. From August 1, Super 98 will be Dh2.69 per litre (down from Dh2.70 in July), Special 95 will be Dh2.57 (from Dh2.58), and E-Plus 91 will be Dh2.50 (from Dh2.51). Diesel will increase to Dh2.78 per litre, up from Dh2.63.
The monthly revision follows the country’s policy of aligning domestic pump prices with global markets, introduced in 2015. Stable petrol prices help temper transport and goods costs, and the UAE remains among the 25 countries with the lowest petrol prices globally, with an average around Dh2.58 per litre.
